Material Options SLA (Resin)

We are happy to offer advice and help on material choices appropriate for your use case, below are a few of the material options we provide and a list of some of the material properties.

Our current maximum build volume for SLA is: W127 mm x D80 mm x H160 mm with larger options planned for the near future.

Standard Resin

With good moulding accuracy, standard resin can be used for functional testing and rapid prototype printing as well as aesthetic models such as miniatures.

Tensile Strength (MPa)    46-67
Elongation at Break (%)    28-36
Flexural Strength (MPa)    46-72
Impact Strength (J/m)    14-42

Tough Resin

Tough resin can print rugged and durable parts with excellent mechanical properties. Objects printed with hard resin can be drilled, which makes it ideal for mechanical prototypes.

Tensile Strength (MPa)    30-60
Elongation at Break (%)    35-52
Flexural Strength (MPa)    30-75
Impact Strength (J/m)    40-110

High Temp Resin

High Temperature Resin has the characteristics of high hardness, high strength, high modulus, and high precision in addition to heat resistance to long-term heating at 120°C or boiling at 100°C. The fully cured resin material has excellent mechanical properties, weather resistance and temperature resistance.

Tensile Strength (MPa)    70-85
Elongation at Break (%)    35-40
Flexural Strength (MPa)    95-105
Heat Distortion Temp (℃)    100.5℃

ABS Like Resin

This is an upgraded ABS-like high-strength engineering resin with the physical properties of ABS material. Its high strength, impact resistance and low shrinkage make it ideal for printing items like protective plastic housings.

Tensile strength (MPa)  68-83
Elongation at Break (%) 30-36
Fluxural Strength (MPa) 104-128
Impact Strength (J/m) 20-24

Flexible Resin

Flexible resin has high elongation at break, good elasticity and good tear resistance, allowing it to cope with bending and compression. The parts are soft and elastic and can be used on product models that require softness such as RC car and drone parts where robustness is required.

Tensile Strength (MPa)    4-10
Elongation at Break (%)    100-350
Tearing Strength (GPa)    8-30
Hardness (Shore D)       60-90A

Castable Resin for Jewellery

This resin has been developed specifically for jewellery casting and produces very little burning ash and residues, giving good casting performance.

It can produce high-quality jewellery pieces with high precision, the details of fine and complex models are clearly visible.

This resin is used for the lost wax casting of metals such as gold, silver and copper.
